Sidebar 12 - Merry Xmas and Tropes

Merry Christmas, Happy Festivus, and Happy Holidays to all of our listeners!  This sidebar is not only the last one of 2025, it's also the last sidebar of Season 1!  Season 2 starts next week.  (Having a new season does not really mean all that much, although we are excited that we've done enough episodes to call something "Season 2".)  The first episode of Season 2 will be released on New Year's Day, and we will be discussed Her, the 2013 Spike Jonze movie starting Joaquin Phoenix and the voice of Scarlett Johansson.

We spend most of the time this sidebar discussing the many tropes from Season 1's movies and shows.  We apologize for our audio quality - Mike's audio was lost, so we had to rely on the Zoom recording.  Nothing like ending Season 1 on a snafu...  But don't worry, stick around for after the outro where you can listen to the moment where we all learned that Mike's audio was lost.
